Your guests' safety is non-negotiable. Every Howzit Live event is backed by comprehensive risk management, qualified personnel and full regulatory compliance.
Our Safety Standards
Every aspect of our operation is governed by strict safety protocols. Here's how we keep your event compliant and your people safe.
OHS Act Compliance
Every Howzit Live event is planned and executed in full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993). We submit safety files to venues and municipalities as standard.
Public Liability Insurance
We carry comprehensive public liability insurance covering all our equipment, staff and activations. Certificates of insurance are available on request for your procurement team.
Qualified Safety Officers
Our event safety officers hold SAMTRAC and NEBOSH qualifications. They manage risk assessments, incident response and post-event reporting for events of any size.
Food-Handling Compliance
All food and beverage staff carry valid food-handler certificates under the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act. Temperature logs and allergen information are maintained throughout service.
Electrical Safety
Every temporary power installation comes with a Certificate of Compliance (CoC). All generators include RCD protection and are operated by qualified electricians.
Crowd Management
For large-scale events, we provide trained crowd marshals, develop evacuation plans and coordinate with local emergency services. We comply with SANS 10366 for temporary events.
Safety Documentation
Download our safety standards and risk-assessment templates. These documents form part of every event safety file we compile.
General Event Safety Standards
All Howzit Live experiences are built to SANS safety standards. Each unit is inspected before every activation and comes with a comprehensive safety file. Our team holds valid first-aid certificates and all electrical installations carry a certificate of compliance.
Food & Beverage Safety Standards
